You can find our cancellation policy in our Terms & Conditions.
-
For each retreat, we specify the riding skills required. You’ll find them at the very top of the respective retreat page, with a more detailed description further down under “Horse Riding”. If you’re still unsure, feel free to send us an email and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.
-
For all retreats except the Ibiza retreat, you book any additional nights directly with the hotel. You’ll find the hotel’s contact details on the information page for the respective retreat. We’ll send you access to this page once we have received your deposit.
If you would like to arrive earlier or stay longer for the Ibiza retreat, please get in touch with us. You’ll also find information on the conditions under which this is possible on the Ibiza retreat’s information page.
-
We check incoming payments every Wednesday and Saturday. One to two days later, you’ll receive an email from us confirming that we’ve received your deposit, along with further information about your retreat.
Please don’t send us screenshots of bank receipts or payment confirmations – we don’t need them.
-
Most of our retreats are priced in Swiss francs. After you register, you’ll receive an email with the payment details. You can pay the deposit either in Swiss francs or in euros. The email will specify the exact deposit amount in both Swiss francs and euros.
When the remaining balance is due, we’ll send you an invoice with the outstanding amount converted into euros at the current exchange rate. There are therefore no fixed euro prices, as the amount depends on the exchange rate.
The same applies in reverse for Swiss francs if a retreat is advertised in euros.
We have both a euro and a Swiss franc account, so you can conveniently make a bank transfer in your own currency, no matter where you are based.
-
Some of the riding stables offer riding helmets for rent. You’ll find out whether this is available for your retreat on the information page you receive after paying your deposit.
You’ll find everything else you need for the retreat on the packing list, which we’ll send you by email as a link after your deposit has been received.
Riding boots, safety vests and other riding equipment are not provided by any of the riding stables. If you would like to use these, please bring your own.
For all of our retreats, you don’t need a complete riding outfit. You’re also welcome to ride in comfortable trousers and sturdy shoes.
-
For all our retreats, you don’t need a complete riding outfit. At retreats that are also suitable for beginners, the riding stables provide riding helmets for rent. For many retreats that are exclusively for advanced riders – such as Morocco – we recommend bringing your own helmet.
When it comes to clothing, it’s important that your trousers don’t have thick seams on the inside of the legs. Your ankles should also be covered, either with high, sturdy shoes such as hiking boots or, in winter, winter boots, or with mini chaps or riding socks. Most importantly, make sure you wear sturdy footwear to protect your feet in case a horse steps on them.
Riding takes place in all weather conditions at all of our retreat locations. We therefore recommend checking the weather conditions in advance and reading the packing list carefully. It contains all the important information you need to make sure you’re well prepared for every situation.
-
Travel to and from the retreat location is organised independently by each participant. For some retreats, such as Morocco, the airport transfer is included. For most retreats, however, we provide information on how to get to the hotel or the location where the retreat takes place.
We work closely with Nova Reisen, a travel agency familiar with our retreat locations that will be happy to assist you with planning your journey.
-
You can find what is included in the price and what comes at an additional cost on the respective retreat page under “Prices”. There, you’ll find not only the retreat prices and the different room categories, but also a detailed overview of exactly what is included and what is not.
-
Each retreat has its own page where you’ll find all the information about the respective retreat. At the bottom of the page, you’ll find a registration form to complete if you’d like to join.
After registering, you’ll automatically receive an email with the payment details. You then have 7 days to pay the deposit. Once we have received your deposit, your place is confirmed. A few days later, we’ll send you an email with a link to our information page, where you’ll find everything you need to know about preparation, travel arrangements, packing, and more.
If we don’t receive your deposit or hear from you within 7 days, we’ll release the place again.
For the remaining balance, we’ll send you an email with the invoice a few weeks before the payment deadline.
